Adding Images to a Page
Inserting images into a wiki page is a three step process.
First, if you are using the Edit(Text) mode type "attachment:" followed by the name of the image, like this: attachment:museum.jpg.
The name you give your image does not have to be the actual filename of the image you intend to upload, but should have either a .jpg, .gif, or .png extension.
If you are editing the wiki using the Edit(GUI) mode, click the Insert Image Icon.
An Image Properties window will appear. Enter the name of the image here. (The name should still include either a .jpg, .gif, or .png extension). Click Ok.
Click the Save Changes button as you would after any edit.
Your wiki page now includes a link saying Upload new attachment and the name you supplied for your image.
Click this link to continue uploading the image.
Under the heading New Attachment use the Browse button to locate the image on your hard drive. Select the image you want to use, then click the Upload button. Your image will appear listed under the Attached Files heading.
Click the link that says Clear Message under the Auckland Wiki header graphic. This will return you to the completed wiki page and display the image.
