The School of Art and Design is one of New Zealand's largest providers of art and design education. They offer programmes ranging from Certificate to Masters and Doctoral level. Areas covered include fashion, printing, graphic design, spatial design and visual arts as well as computer publishing and fabric printing.
The School of Art and Design as a separate entity, was established in 1986. Since then it has added a spatial design component, and incorporated the visual arts as well as digital media.
