Kingsland is a small inner city suburb, which only fairly recently has been gentrified.
To get there you could catch a Sandringham or West Auckland bound bus from Midtown, Auckland City, catch the train from Britomart (Downtown Auckland) or even walk from the CBD (it's a fair hike, but not that far). Kingsland has many restaurants, cafes in bars and bars.
