A transient restaurant towed into Shortland Street by a tractor, the White Lady has long been a downtown institution. Catering to the late night bar crowd the Lady appears daily from 8pm to 4am and delivers some of the finest burgers to ever emerge from an aging caravan. Burgers are divided up into either Burgers or Giant Burgers the biggest being the Auckland Burger ($16) which consists of a 300 gram scotch fillet steak, fried onions, thick tomato suace, fresh lettuce and tomato, on a toasted bun.
